Senior Project #10

Time spent: 1 hour
Total time: 18 hours

Clarissa, Nick, Emily, and I met up again today at Nicole Werner's house to interview her mom, Janet Werner. Unfortunately, her interview didn't go as smoothly as we'd expected. She was a little nervous and it was hard for us to get something inspiring out of her. But that's no one's fault - some people just respond differently to these kinds of things. Either way, we still deeply appreciate her time. One thing that intrigued me about her interview was how focused she was on her family. She was pregnant and also had a two year old when she was diagnosed with cancer, so she toughed out a lot of her treatment so she could take care of her kids. I found that really admirable about her.

Her photoshoot was a little harder too, because it was a little too dark to get decent exposures. Our camera settings were turned up all the way, but even then, it was hard to get much. There are a few good shots that we should still be able to use. Next time, we'll make sure to shoot during the daytime so there's more ambient light available.
