Clarissa came to my house this morning to have a screen-sharing session with Jason Lee. He has no time in his schedule or clients that are willing to let him shadow so we can meet him again, so the most he can do is show us via screen sharing what his basic editing process is like.
Just like Andy Lin, Jason prefers to use Lightroom for quick adjustments, temperature changes, recovery, etc. He introduced us to tools such as the gradient tool, which has several applications such as exposure, color, and more.
Jason demonstrated his editing process with a recent wedding that he shot. Out of about 1000 pictures, he chooses to deliver a couple hundred to his client after editing them. Overall, his editing process is very light and never too heavy. One important thing that he point out is that all of the photos should be edited the same way, or at least have the same kind of look. That makes sense, since a set of photos should have some kind of theme to them.
After our lesson with Jason, Clarissa and I played around a bit with Lightroom with Mrs. Yee's and Mrs. Werner's photos. We chose to have the pictures look black and white, with no major editing. There's still a lot we have to learn about Lighroom, so fortunately, we're meeting with Andy Lin later to learn more editing techniques.
